Book Review Policy and Review Index

I’m not a professional reviewer; I’m just a book lover who happens to love writing about books. The reviews that I write for this blog consist mostly of my personal thoughts and feelings about what I read, and they’re not exactly formal critical analyses.

When given the chance, I read different kinds of books, but I gravitate more toward fantasy, science fiction, young adult, alternate history, and even chick lit. I am also making an effort to read more books written by Filipino authors.

I am happy to accept review copies of books that fall under any of the categories I’ve mentioned above. I live in the Philippines, though, so I know shipping cost might be an issue, but if you do decide to send a book despite that, your efforts are much appreciated. ~~I don’t have an electronic reader~~ I have Kindle for PC and Adobe Digital Editions installed in my computer, so e-book format will also work for me. Barring any personal or Muggle work-related delays (I only blog for the fun of it), I try to post reviews within a week after I finish reading a book.

p.s. I’m surprised that I’m actually receiving requests to review particular books considering this incarnation of my blog is relatively new. Some of these requests were even sent in by the authors themselves. Thank you for sending in links to your books and for your kind comments about this blog. I’m going to try to get through the requests when I can, since I have a rather intimidating stack of books that I still need to write about.
