Thanks, A! Most of them I got signed during author visits here. The exceptions are: Laini Taylor’s book, which I received through a contest on her blog; the Suzanne Collins book plate and sign-stamped Mockingjay I only received as a present; the Rachel Ward one, I won at a contest at the Manila International Book Far; and a friend got LUCID signed at Comic Con. 🙂
Ohh, I see. I like Laini Taylor! How do you guys get so lucky? I keep joining book giveaways but I still haven’t won in any. 😦 Hope my time comes soon! The book plate also looks fantastic! Btw what are book plates? 🙂 I own books that I really want to be autographed: books by Lauren Oliver, Cynthia Hand, Susan Ee, Jenny Han, Zara Zarr and so on. I really, reallyyyy pray they get signed in the near future! 😀
I’m only lucky when the odds are very very good. LOL. Book plates are these stickers that you stick on the inside cover of your book that usually say “This Book Belongs To” or something like that; it’s where you usually write your name. 🙂 Where are you from, by the way?
Ow, I see! 🙂 Btw I’m from the Philippines too! Last week, I got to buy my first signed book! It’s not personalized though, since I got if from Fully Booked but hey, it’s by Laurie Halse Anderson. I was so happy! Hope my collection grows soon, just like yours. 🙂
